Originally conceived as a brick-and-mortar space seven years ago, the Santa Fe Arts Club adapted into an online community during the pandemic. However, as the value of physical gathering becomes more vital than ever, we are ready to take the next step in our evolution with an in-person iteration as ArtStorming: Santa Fe.

We gather under a simple truth: creativity is inherent, necessary, and contagious. Let’s inspire one another to lead our daily lives with renewed creative agency.

The Alchemy of Motion: A Global Convergence in the High Desert

Free and Open to the Public

From across the Western Hemisphere — Brazil, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Chicago, and Albuquerque — bold choreographic voices are arriving in Santa Fe for a three-week creative residency.

The result is more than a performance at The Lensic. It is the emergence of a new global hub for contemporary dance, uniquely rooted in the vibrancy, landscape, and creative energy of the Desert Southwest.

ArtStorming host Lili Pierrepont sits down with Livona Ellis, Francisco Gella, Vladimir Conde Reche, Jessica Miller Tomlinson, and Madison Falconer to discuss the residency, the 75 artists involved, and how The Alchemy of Motion is helping position Santa Fe as one of the newest centers for contemporary dance.

A reception with light refreshments will follow the discussion.
