An Experiment Born of Isolation
ArtBridge NM started as an experiment in the wake of unexpected global disruption.
When the pandemic abruptly halted an international art travel business, Urban ArtTripping, operated by our founder, Lili Pierrepont, months of isolation forced a fundamental inquiry: What was truly at the core of these cultural journeys?
The essence of the trips was about more than simply transporting clients to far-off art studios; it was about cultivating community, wonder, and meaningful dialogue. At its heart was a desire to build a bridge into the interior mind of the artist, demystify the creative process, and restore creative agency to those who may have abandoned their own creative pursuits. In a world facing unprecedented disconnection, that bridge was needed more than ever.
To answer these questions, ArtBridgeNM was formed—borrowing its namesake from Pierrepont ("stone bridge") to serve as an enduring, rooted foundation for human connection.
Who We Have Become:
An Incubator for Human Potential
What started as a single response to uncertainty has evolved into an engine touching a global hunger for creativity, connection and conversation. Today, the ArtStorming initiatives serve as our vehicle to explore human possibility, while ArtBridge stands as the architectural support. We exist to build the cultural groundwork for people to thrive in their lives—inviting individuals, donors, and communities to think independently, connect deeply, and forge a restorative world together.
